PeaceJam Ambassadors
PeaceJam Ambassadors gives high school-age youth the opportunity to explore complex issues facing them today, including violence – how their lives are touched by it, root causes, how the media portrays it; intolerance, and their own biases and blind spots; privilege and power; and what it takes to be a peacemaker.
Participants in PeaceJam Ambassadors have the opportunity to attend the annual PeaceJam Northeast Youth Conference, a life-changing weekend with the Nobel Peace Laureate that they have been learning about.
PeaceJam Leaders
Based on the adolescent stories of the Nobel Laureates, PeaceJam Leaders helps adolescent youth in grades 6-8 develop the leadership skills and tools they need at this critical stage of their lives, including a commitment to learning, positive values, strong social competencies, and a positive identity.
PeaceJam Juniors
PeaceJam Juniors, for children in grades K-5, focuses on the childhood stories of the Nobel Laureates – what it was like growing up in their countries, the issues they faced as they grew up, and how they worked for positive change. Each Nobel Laureate module focuses on a different character trait and conflict resolution skill.
