Mission

The purpose of Colorado Christian University is: To enable students to pursue a Christ-centered undergraduate and graduate education in an institution of higher education that integrates biblical concepts with the arts, sciences and professional fields. To encourage students to integrate their Christian faith and higher learning by developing thoughtful Christian perspectives. To challenge students to engage in opportunities for spiritual growth, character development, social interaction, and community participation. To prepare graduates for leadership and service within their selected careers and communities. To sustain a community of faculty, administrators, and staff who exemplify Christian faith and character and excellence in their professional fields.

It is the vision of Colorado Christian University that by the year 2010 the University will be: Recognized as the premier source of Christ-centered, biblically-based higher education in the Rocky Mountain region. Known for delivering superb academic programs that challenge the heart, soul, and mind of the students; programs that serve multiple student constituencies, particularly within the Christian community, by multiple modes of delivery. Established as a leader in nurturing cognitive development, spiritual growth, and character formation in its students. Serving a student body and Christian community diversified in terms of gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, and socio-economic status. Offering competitive salaries and working conditions that attract and retain high quality faculty and staff members. Located principally on a distinctive new campus in the foothills west of Denver as well as in urban centers throughout Colorado.

CCU offers more than 200 academic program options for traditional and adult students through its College of Undergraduate Studies and College of Adult and Graduate Studies. More than 9,000 students attend the University on the main campus, in regional centers throughout Colorado and online.
