Mission

The Christian Discipleship Center is a Bible-based ministry offering 90-day residential programs to help Native American Christians recover from alcoholism and substance abuse. We offer sound spiritual principles for healing hurt lives, for restoring relationships with God and others, and for rebuilding life and character. Through obedient discipleship to God's Word, Native men and women learn how to overcome addiction, how to restructure their life for spiritual victory, and how to find new direction and strength to face life's challenges. God wants them to return to their family and church and serve Him with joy in the future!

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Overall Program

Our 90-day program offers a safe place for spiritual healing and renewal. The three sessions each year begin in January, May, or September. The structured program includes Bible classes each day in Christian living and doctrine. A Biblical counselor has group sessions for instruction and individual times with each enrollee. Special Native guest teachers also join our staff to contribute in their areas of knowledge and experience. A support group meets in the evening to offer accountability and expression for personal application and growth. An afternoon work program helps students to give of themselves for the improvement of the facilities and for the future growth of the work. Sound nutrition helps heal bodies and teaches new habits for maintaining health. Weekend activities and church attendance provide good fun and fellowship and establish meaningful patterns of responsibility for the future. The participation of the Native family and church is also encouraged during enrollment and especially afterwards for continued support and accountability.
