Financial Education for young people
More than 47,100 Colorado youth (including 16,840 at-risk/low-income youth) each year gain financial literacy through keynote programs: Young AmeriTowne (free enterprise for 33,600 5th graders) and International Towne (global economics for 11,500 middle school students), YouthBiz (entrepreneurship for 1,000+ at-risk youth), . These signature hands-on, real life programs teach 21st century skills in personal finance, economics, business and workplace readiness so students can make wise decisions about money in order to become self-sufficient.
