Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

1.INCREASE ORGANIZATIONAL CAPABILITIES
2.CLUB MEMBERS OUTPERFORM PEERS BY 10%
3.BUILD BGCCNM'S COLLECTIVE BRAND.
4.BUILD BGCCNM'S FUNDRAISING CAPACITY
5.SERVE MORE KIDS MORE OFTEN

The overall goal for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico is to “serve more kids more often." This means not only increasing its membership base, but also increasing the Club's retention rates. To accomplish this, management has identified 5 key objectives that will ultimately create an environment that will create the desired result.

First, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico must strengthen its capabilities to offer children quality programming that targets academic success, character development and healthy living. Thanks to its affiliation with the Boys & Girls Club of America, the Club has a plethora of resources at its fingertips. Local staff needs to be trained to successfully implement the programs and integrate them into daily activities.

Once these activities are successfully implemented, the success of the program will need to be measured. With tools such as the National Youth Outcomes Initiative (NYOI), the Club will be able to gather data, compare that data to both regional and national outcomes and ultimately measure the impact the Club has on its members. The goal of BGCCNM is that its Club members will outperform their peers by at least 10%.

Our membership, daily attendance (serving more kids more often), revenue and several other areas are all increased in 2013.
