Mission

Established in 1953, Community Psychiatric Clinic (CPC) was founded on the belief that psychiatric care should be available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We specialize in providing services that help foster stable community living for persons with chronic mental illness and/or chemical dependency.

Our mission at CPC is to enhance the quality of life of our clients by delivering a full continuum of high quality, evidence informed, community-based behavioral healthcare services. We strive to assure access for all in our community who seek care.

Our vision is that the people of our community are mentally and physically healthy and able to realize their hopes and dreams.

CPC's full spectrum of services include, but are not limited to, the following programs: Assessment & Referral , After Hours Response Team, Adult Outpatient Services, Child & Family Services, Substance Use Disorder Services, Community Support Services, Veterans Services, Residential Services and Vocational Services

Our programs provide services to assist clients to live, work, learn and participate fully in the community as independently as possible and to support their recovery and well being.

Our caring and trained clinicians provide thorough assessments, individual therapy, parent support, family therapy, skill building groups and case management services.

Community Psychiatric Clinic's Veterans services provide a continuum of outreach, treatment, housing and residential rehabilitation for veterans and their families from all major branches of the military.

Our residential facilities provide a safe, stable environment in which chronically mentally ill adults can achieve personal goals and improved quality of life. Highly trained staff offer care and opportunities to develop interpersonal, social and daily living skills, symptom management and medication management. When individuals are ready we help them work toward achieving more independent living situations.

Substance Use Disorder services provide adult and youth outpatient counseling services focused on the skills and tools needed to restore the level of physical, psychological and social health necessary to achieve and sustain recovery and re-integrate into the community. Services are designed to support the recovery, health and well-being of our clients.

Our Stepworks vocational program provides specialized vocational services to individuals who are recovering from mental illness and/or chemical dependency and seeking to return to the workforce.
