The museum offers a variety of educational opportunities. Our onsite programs, developed by museum staff and our teacher docents, serve all age groups and include classroom, youth group and adult programs.

Executive Director

Henry (Hank) R Helm

BIO

After graduating from the University of Washington, Hank spent thirty three years in a mechanical equipment distributorship as salesman, sales manager, president and finally, consultant. Hank was hired by the Society in 2006 as the Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper. In July 2008 he became the Executive director. He has lived on Bainbridge Island since 1969 with his wife Lynn. He served on the Bainbridge Island Park District Board of Directors and on the Bainbridge Island School District Board. Hank is also a director of the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial Association and the Rhododendron Species Foundation.
