Mission

Adopt-A-Pet is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit Washington State charitable organization. Our mission is to serve the citizens of Mason County by accepting stray or unwanted dogs and placing them in new homes through our Adoption Program. The Spay and Neuter Program and Emergency Medical Program, offer financial assistance to help families care for and keep their pets.

Foster Care Program

We provide temporary homes for liters of puppies, pregnant moms, older dogs, and dogs that need extra socialization. Adopt-A-Pet covers the cost of food and medical care until their new homes are found.

The Spay and Neuter program provides financial assistance to Mason County residents to help with the cost of having their pet altered.

The Emergency Medical Program financially assists any Mason County resident with emergency medical services for their family pet.

Adopt-A-Pet provides nutritious food, warm housing, exercise, training and love for stray or abandoned dogs until a new loving home is found. Our dogs are vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and wormed.
