International Relations Initiative

An aggressive initiative designed to develop relationships, resolve issues, create collaborations and expand opportunities all with a goal of advancing the cause of permanency for children in need. The Joint Council International Relations Initiative takes a proactive approach to the myriad of issues facing the children we serve.

As part of the Joint Council International Relations Initiative, we work closely with our country caucuses, individual organizational members and key officials to ensure effective representation and positive outcomes. Joint Council utilizes its effective relationships with key legislators, the Department of State, and Department of Homeland Security to further expand our advocacy efforts.

International trips are prioritized based on the country?s current situation. Joint Council strives to strengthen relationships with all countries relative to children's rights.
