Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Community-based Mentoring
Adult Volunteer Mentors, or "Bigs", meet with their mentees, or "Littles," 2-4 times a month for a few hours at time in the community. Activities will be based on the shared interests of the Big and Little, and can include trips to the library, park, community events, sporting events, crafts, baking, board games, and much more. The program serves children ages 5-24 years old. We welcome and celebrate youth, mentors, and families of all ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, socio-economic status, family structures, and disabilities.
Site-based Mentoring
Volunteer adult or high school Bigs meet with their Littles once a week either at a school or community center under the supervision of a match support specialist. Bigs and Littles can do school work, play games, do arts and crafts, or play sports. The program runs concurrent with the school year and serves children ages 5-18 years old.
