Homestead Community Land Trust preserves and advances access to permanently affordable homeownership as a means to create thriving, equitable and inclusive communities. Homestead’s programs and services support the advancement of sustainable communities by increasing access to affordable homeownership to modest income people. We work with neighborhoods and communities of King County at high risk of displacement, and residents who earn less than 80% of area median income (low- to moderate-income by HUD standards). We seek to foster equitable development of housing for neighborhoods vulnerable to displacement due to high growth and gentrification.
