Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Building small homes for the homeless so they can recover from PTSD or other issues without the stress and danger of street living,

We will build 18 small units and a large meeting hall on the property. Each unit will have a bathroom with a shower, an efficiency kitchen, and a living/sleeping area. The doors will all have locks, providing a safe and secure living space, and a legal address so that the veteran can receive public assistance such as food stamps. There will be no time limits, but there will be a requirement to be active in a recovery program designed for the resident. The meeting hall will be a place for the residents to gather and socialize, or attend seminars, or meet with their councilors or friends. There will be 24/7 security for the residents' protection. All this is designed to help the veterans recover and integrate back into society.

We have raised over half a million dollars so far and continue to receive donations and fundraising proceeds. We are on schedule to open sometime next year.

We own the land ($700,000) and have raised additional funds over half a million dollars so far. We have 2 attorneys on retainer, have selected an independent accounting firm, and have contracted with an engineering firm to prepare all the site plans. We have changed the zoning on the land to allow us to build these homes, and have gone through the public hearings for this project. We are now at the permitting stage.
We need to continue to find donors as well as a project manager. we are looking for "in-kind" donors to provide site and utility work, as well as corporate sponsors to help with the housing. Since this project is quite extensive, we need experts in every field to come on board with us and help us get this project done.
