What we aim to solve
The Arts Center Task Force is a volunteer non-profit group. We are building a performing and visual arts center for the Tri-Cities, WA that advances the cultural and economic vitality of our region.

Mid-Columbia Performing Arts Center
Through the construction of an 800-seat performing arts center, we strive to enhance cultural access and quality of life for the community, promote economic vitality, and support local arts organizations to collaborate, grow, and thrive. We are committed to creating a hub for arts and culture that attracts visitors and stimulates growth in the local economy.
In addition to our goal to provide exceptional performance and community spaces, we support local arts organizations by serving as a collaborative resource for artistic development and innovation. We believe that by working together, we can build a vibrant and sustainable arts ecosystem that benefits artists and audiences alike.
We're work to create a welcoming environment that inspires creativity and enhances quality of life. By providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with the arts, we hope to cultivate a lifelong love of culture and foster a sense of community pride and belonging.

What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have raised $1,000,000 to date, have an architectural concept, and hired staff. Next step is to finish fundraising and start construction.
