What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

"The workers are few and the harvest is white, pray to the LORD of the Harvest to send the workers into fields white with harvest" (Luke 10:2) Practical help for those who literally lay down their lives that others may live is always in short supply. Mission Builders International recruits and places those willing to come alongside to "help the helpers" worldwide. We do this "so others may thrive."

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Reaching More Potential Volunteers

Requests from our partner agencies for volunteers of all ages and vocations continue to increase each year. MBI is motivated to reach out to more potential volunteers through social media using targeted advertising driving prospects to our website where they can engage in specific volunteer opportunities.

Population(s) Served

To recruit and place an ever increasing number of volunteers worldwide, MBI is developing the programming to connect volunteers directly with the operating locations needing their help. We are budgeting for the online software needed to facilitate the ongoing development.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To recruit and place 1,100 volunteers worldwide in 120 Youth With A Mission operating locations each year, with annual growth of 3 to 7%.

Expanding the use of Social Media through direct and indirect referrals by dedicating personnel and resources, with the expected result of increasing traffic to our website, www.missionbuilders.org. This is augmented in part by targeted advertising.

Using the experience of three full-time volunteer staff trained in and experienced in working with Social Media, combined with the expertise and advice of a core of committed volunteers. MBI has several long-term staff with more than 30-years of missions experience in coaching and placing volunteers alongside YWAM ministries world wide.

Mission Builders International averaged placing over 500 individual volunteers annually since 2004 and experienced an average growth rate of 3%. We'll continue to track our progress and will publish our results here. As of December 31, 2017, we placed over 1,000 volunteers in 68 nations.
