Mission

BGI's mission: To prepare students from diverse backgrounds to build enterprises that are financially successful, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable.  We fulfill this mission in two ways:  by preparing our own students and by helping other business schools integrate sustainability into the heart of their programs.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Master of Business Administration in Sustainable Business

Bainbridge Graduate Institute offers a unique MBA in Sustainable Business.  Our innovative program prepares graduates to create and manage successful, dynamic enterprises that build a better world.  Today, most MBA students receive little exposure to social and environmental issues in their program of study and consequently can be led to believe that these issues are peripheral to business success.  Our program provides the core competencies of a traditional MBA program while infusing sustainability into every course.

Population(s) Served

The BGI certificate program offers the opportunity to deepen students' understanding of sustainable business practices that champion social justice, environmental responsibility and profitability.  The certificate program empowers people who want to make an existing or future business more profitable, equitable and restorative to the environment.  Admission to the program requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
