BBB Savvy Consumer Programs
BBB Savvy Consumer Programs provide marketplace information to consumers of all ages to guide their purchasing decisions and help them aviod fraud.
Center for Character Ethics
Builds better businesses with events that highlight the importance of ethical workplace practices and inspires youth to explore their ethical perspectives through our Laws of Life essay contest.
Military Line
Through BBB Military Line consumer education program and our web-based and mobile technology endeavors, we work to bring financial literacy to a most deserving segment of our population. Education and outreach that is user focused - on the ground - on the web - and through mobile technology - we seek to equip those who serve, have served, and their families with the tools they need to navigate an ever changing and often complex marketplace.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
BBB's Foundation mission is to promote the importance of business ethics and provide resources so consumers make better buying decisions. We exist to support BBB programs and events that elevate BBB's mission to advance marketplace trust.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
BBB of Central Arizona Foundation exists to educate individuals and businesses about marketplace issues and charitable giving practices and reinforce BBB's mission of advancing marketplace trust. BBB Foundation is organized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation for charitable and educational purposes. It offers consumers tools and resources about making informed purchasing decisions, and supports businesses in their efforts to operate with the highest ethical standards. Programs are offered within BBB's 10-county service area, free of charge to schools, colleges, universities, clubs, civic organizations and others as requested.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The programs and activities BBB's Foundation are made possible largely through the financial support of the BBB Integrity Golf Classic, corporate sponsorships and grants, as well as donations by individuals and BBB accredited business.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
BBB Foundation continues to oversee and successfully execute events that elevate BBB's mission throughout the year with our Torch Awards for Ethics program, Ethics Symposium, and Annual Integrity Golf Tournament. Goals for 2016/2017 include providing a greater scope of outreach to active military and veterans in the Metro Phoenix area. Additionally, plans to provide high school ethical athletes with scholarships (in addition to current monthly recognition) through our Helicopter Ball Drop raffle is in the works.
