Funding Needs

Last year Family Service Counseling & Community Resource Center worked with over 1,200 local families to overcome a variety of mental health issues.  Not only did we work with families individually, but we also partnered with local schools, Juvenile Justice, and other nonprofits to support our most at-risk families.  With your help and generosity  together we will continue to save marriages, improve parenting skills, overcome addictions, and get people back to leading healthy, fulfilling lives.  Family Service Counseling & Community Resource Center is a mission driven, nonprofit organization that strives to ensure that no one is turned away for financial reasons and we see many of our clients on a pro-bono basis.   We will do whatever we can to continue providing our vital community based, mental health programs but we need your helMark TakeharaExecutive Director

STATEMENT FROM THE Principal Officer

"We are all too familiar with the staggering amount of both children and adults with emotional health needs. Nearly 22 percent of the adult population in Alameda County has emotional or mental health issues. FSCC remains committed to helping our clients overcome the emotional and mental health issues that create obstacles in both their professional and personal lives.  There are no easy answers to the many complicated issues facing us today, but one thing is clear: it will take new and continued efforts from all segments of society to address them.   Family Service Counseling and Community Resource Center has provided enriching experiences and life changing programs for more than 86 years and continues to grow and prosper because of the generous contributions and support of foundations, corporations, and individuals such as you. Thank you for your investments of time, talent, and treasure, and for joining our efforts to ensure that all people have hope and opportunity in their lives."
