Main Programs

Loyola Marymount University is ranked No. 75 by U.S. News & World Report in national universities, placing it among the top six private universities in California. Founded in 1911, LMU is a Catholic, Jesuit and Marymount university with nearly 7,000 undergraduates and more than 3,000 graduate and law students. LMU offers 55 majors and 59 minors, along with 47 master’s degree programs, three doctorate programs and 13 credential programs and authorizations. The university’s schools and colleges include the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts, the College of Business Administration, the College of Communication and Fine Arts, the Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering, Loyola Law School, the School of Education, and the School of Film and Television. LMU’s intercollegiate athletics teams compete in the West Coast Conference (Division I) and varsity sports.
