What we aim to solve
The preparation of youth to be positive and effective adult leaders no matter their background, limitations, or situation. Youth today have an array of issues they must deal with and the lack of skills that support that growth is lacking in our society.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
To improve the lives of the youth in our community and prepare them to be leaders within that community. We aim to give youth in all communities the opportunities to have unique experiences that will prepare them to have a positive adult life and become leaders in their communities by breaking financial barriers, educational limitations, or any other issues that youth face today.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Recruit more youth into our programs. Breakdown barriers by introducing youth into the outdoors. Have youth work along adult leaders to accomplish various work and recognize them for it. Work with families to support their needs. Involve community leaders to give guidance to youth in various skill sets.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our organization's capabilities are strong as we have a proven program developed and the volunteer structure to deliver it. We have an outdoor facility that is easily accessible to all. Our programs are implemented at the local communities.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have increased our market share in all communities and increased our membership as well as our retention. Our kids are constantly advancing through the program and receiving recognition. Our camping numbers have increased and our service hours are consistent per youth. We have increased the number of trained volunteers and are now serving more youth in areas where we did not before. We are in the process of updating our camp operations to meet higher demand and improve programming to be more inclusive of all youth and families.
