Scout Me In!

Scouting is adventure, family, fun, character, leadership and so much more.

In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Scout Me In says Count Me In! We’re proud to introduce Scout Me In, the new recruitment campaign that invites all kids and families in America to be a part of the life-changing experiences that is Scouting. The tagline, Scout Me In, celebrates the BSA’s historic decision to serve families and welcome girls and boys into Scouting so they can experience the character-building fun and adventure the program brings to life in communities across the country.

The California Inland Empire Council provides four different programs:

Cub Scouts is a year-round family- and home-centered program that develops ethical decision-making skills for boys and girls ages 5 through 10. Activities emphasize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.

Scouts BSA is a year-round program for boys and girls 11 through 17 designed to achieve the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoor program, service and leadership development.

Scouting offers over 130 Merit Badges and many of those are STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) based.

Some of those include:

Environmental Science - Aviation - Programming - Electronics - Game Design - Entrepreneurship - Personal Management - Graphic Arts - Robotics

Venturing is a co-ed program for youth ages 14 – 20 that includes high adventure activities, sports, service, leadership, and other skill building activities.

Exploring is a unique career exploration program for young men and women ages 14 – 20. The program provides an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields.
