Affordable and Transformative Counseling for the Under Served

Community Counseling Center is a safety net mental health provider for short-term, non-crisis, low-cost counseling for individuals, children, couples, and families who have a low income and no insurance. Over 500 clients are seen for 10-15 weekly therapy sessions per year. In addition, we provide an information and referral service which assists hundreds of people yearly. We also provide training opportunities for students working on their state licensing hours and continuing education workshops for clinicians.

Population(s) Served

1,600 hundred clients per year contact the agency for counseling services.  About 400 are referred to another agency and about 1,200 are given counseling services. (over 10,000 professional hours were donated last year)

Population(s) Served

Community Counseling Center partners with five local K-12 School Districts to provider therapy to students at over 20 sites. Therapists provide socio-emotional support, play/art therapy, assessment, mentoring, community resources and referrals to over 500 youth 5-17 years of age annually.
