Provides Short Term Services to Families in crisis with children 0-5.

Population(s) Served

Family Preservation is a network of services designed to assist families experiencing a crisis that might lead to children being placed out of the home. The goal if to provide supportive services designed to mitigate risk and which will allow the children to remain in their home with their parents if at all possible.

A Prevention Intervention and Demonstartion collaborative project with four offices throughout South Los Angeles providing resource and referral information as well as programs to increase protective factors (book club, weight watchers, legal clinic, health seminars/workshops, GED and other vocational training.
