Mission

Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) is a non-profit organization which was started in 1992 under the mayor tom Bradley administration. The goal of YOU is to reduce juvenile delinquency. Pursuant to this goal, YOU operated an intel club house which taught computer literacy skills to students ages 10-18 and provided after school tutorial services to neighboring high schools with grant funding provided during 1993-2005.

Opportunities Unlimited Charter High School opened in September 2005 with 78 9th -11th graders. We currently serve 140 9th-12th graders. Opportunities core school values are to develop critical readers, critical thinkers and social justice change agents by providing college preparatory, a-g curricula. Hence, instruction at opportunities is geared such that every student will be prepared for a new global economy by being exposed to an engaging curriculum that results in independent life long
